What's the difference between giving up and surrendering?

In this weeks Morning Medicine Club I was asked at the end of the call ‘what’s the difference between giving up and surrendering’ It was such a great question, of course the journaling questions in the club are there to lead you to your own wisdoms, but the discussion really opened something more in me and led me to a couple of teachings around surrender - one of which I shared on the group, in the surrendering into the divine will, when I wanted to get our disabled daughter up the Tor at solstice - in the surrendering my will, something beautiful happened, and divine will entered and some how we made it. However my greatest teaching on surrender happened in 2022 and I share this more on the audio broadcast here.
